Defender of the Ukrainian national team Taras Kacharaba became a Slovakian player DAK 1904.
Centerback signed a contract for 2.5 years. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
At the end of December, Sport Arena reported interest in the services of the Ukrainian football player by the Bani Yas club from the UAE. Kacharaba was also on the short list of Dynamo Kyiv.
In Ukraine, Kacharaba played for the youth teams of Shakhtar, Hoverla and Zirka. In 2018, he moved to Liberec Slovan on loan (97 matches, five goals), and in 2019 he became a full-fledged player of the Czech team. In 2022, Slavia Prague bought Kacharaba from Slovan for 800 thousand euros.
This season Taras played only two matches for Slavia. He also played three games for the Ukrainian national team.
DAK 1904 is in fifth place in the Slovak Super League.
