Athletistic/ Figure skating. Today, February 7, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) published the text of the decision in the Kamila Valieva case. Earlier, at the end of January, the court found the athlete guilty of violating anti-doping rules. Kamila Valieva was disqualified for four years.
In a reasoned decision, the court indicated the results of the study of the anti-doping sample B. This sample also turned out to be positive. Trimetazidine was found there. It was this banned substance that played a fatal role in Valieva’s case. Sample B was opened in March 2022.
