Athletistic/OI. Grigori Rodchenkov, former head of the Moscow Anti-Doping Laboratory, expressed the opinion that the Russian flag and anthem should be permanently banned at the Olympic Games.
“The Russian flag and anthem should be permanently banned from the Olympic Games. If the IOC wants to maintain any credibility, it should disqualify Russian athletes for at least 10 years,” Rodchenkov said in an interview with CNN.
Rodchenkov moved to the United States in January 2016 and has since been an informant for the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
