Athletistic/ Figure skating. At the end of January, the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland, completed its review of the case of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva. It found the athlete guilty of violating anti-doping rules in relation to a positive doping test carried out during the Russian Championship in December 2021. The CAS sanctioned Kamila Valiev with disqualification for a period of four years. At the same time, the start date of disqualification is December 25, 2021. Today, February 7, the court issued a reasoned decision. It also contained the testimony of coach Eteri Tutberidze.

“(Tutberidze) does not control or discuss with team doctors medications and supplements prescribed to athletes.” Kamila Valieva has not complained of any heart problems, with the exception of March 2021, when the FMBA, after a thorough medical examination, recommended that she reduce her workload, the document states.
