Skaters Anastasia Chernyshova and Vladislav Vilchik said that preparation for the Russian Junior Championships was very difficult for them.
At the competition in Saransk, Chernyshova and Vilchik became the first in the short program among sports pairs, scoring 69.06 points.
— I had to sleep for another 3 hours (laughs). The late start is a plus for us, I like to play in the evening. We didn’t set a goal for the tournament, the main thing was to skate cleanly. The judges will sort it out,” reports correspondent Vilchik.
— We are satisfied with the rental. Morning training didn’t go well. Tomorrow we will review the free program. I’m more worried about the short. The preparation was quite hard, we skated a lot. The last week was the most difficult,” Chernyshova noted.
The skaters will present their free program on Thursday, February 8.
