European champion in women’s single skating Alena Kostornaya announced to that she would not participate in the Spartakiad of the Strongest due to a shoulder injury.
The Winter Spartakiad of the Strongest will be held in several regions of Russia, and figure skating competitions will be held in Magnitogorsk from February 16 to 18.
In early 2023, it was announced that Kostornaya had moved to pair skating and would compete with Georgy Kunitsa.
