Bekh-Romanchuk placed 11th in the triple jump at the 2022 World Cup

Yulimar Rojas won the world championship gold

Ukrainian Marina Bekh-Romanchuk took 11th place in triple jump on the 2022 World Championships in Athleticswhich takes place in the American Eugene.

In the final of the competition, Bekh-Romanchuk showed a result of 13.91 m. Note that in the qualification Marina jumped 14.54 m.

The world champion was the representative of Venezuela Yulimar Rojas, who showed the best result of the season in the world – 15.47 m.

Silver of the world championship was won by Shanika Ricketts from Jamaica – 14.89 m. Bronze from the American Tory Franklin – 14.72 m.

On Saturday, July 23, Bekh-Romanchuk will compete in the long jump qualification. This is her main discipline.

It should be noted that the first medal of the Ukrainian team in Eugene was won by Andriy Protsenko. He won bronze in the high jump.
