There may have been disagreements on some points, but I will never forget how far we have come. And this trip was incredible. Varya, Sergei Vladimirovich and I have experienced a lot together. And I am immensely happy to have had the opportunity to skate with such a great partner and as part of such a wonderful coaching team. I love you.

Butenko and Cheremnykh are the winners of the Russian Grand Prix stage of the 2022/23 season, the national championship among juniors. At the 2023 Russian Championship, the couple took 11th place.
