Olympic champion of the Sochi Games Ilinykh gave birth to her third child

Olympic figure skating champion Elena Ilinykh and his wife, the ballet dancer Sergei Polunin, had a third child.

Ilnykh herself announced this on social networks, writing that she had become the mother of many children. The former figure skater accompanied the message with photographs of her rounded belly before giving birth.

– I’m so grateful to you for me! Because I have a life in which there is not a single reason not to be happy. For unlimited human freedom, with the understanding that you always hold my hand, because it makes me feel better. For your strength, your love… for the fact that I can truly tell myself that I’m doing great. Because our children have the best dad on the planet! And it’s a real joy! For the awarded title – mother of many children! And for the fact that, despite the contractions, we still managed to take a photo,” Ilyinykh wrote on social networks, without specifying the child’s name.

In 2020, the Ilins and Polunin had their first son, named Mir; in 2022, the couple had a second son, his name is Dar.

29-year-old Ilyinykh and Nikita Katsalapov are the Sochi-2014 champions in the team competitions and Olympic bronze medalists in the individual tournament.
