Russian figure skater Anna Shvetsova was injured while participating in the All-Russian competition in memory of SM Kirov, which took place in Kirov from February 10 to 12.
During her performance in the free skate, Shvetsova landed unsuccessfully after a jump and hit her head on the ice. The athlete could barely stand up and blood appeared on his face near the eyebrow.
In the broadcast footage, the arena announcer can be heard calling for medical personnel. The athlete could not complete the performance and after the short program she took 20th place in the junior competition.
