Silver medalist of the Russian Championship Sofia Muravyova explained why she withdrew from the figure skating tournament as part of the Spartakiad of the Strongest.
On Wednesday, Plushenko Angels Academy head coach Evgeniy Plushenko told that Muravyova would not participate in the tournament due to medical reasons.
— Dear fans, since I will not be able to participate in the Spartakiad, I sincerely regret and apologize to everyone who was waiting for me at this start. Last week I got sick and couldn’t recover. Love and good luck to everyone! — Muravyova wrote on the Telegram channel.
The figure skating tournament as part of the Spartakiad will take place from February 16 to 18 in Magnitogorsk.
