Athletistic/ Figure skating. In February, the Spartakiad of the strongest in winter sports took place. Magnitogorsk (Chelyabinsk region) was chosen as the venue for the figure skating competition. In women’s single skating, Adelia Petrosyan was considered the favorite. After all, this season she won the Russian Championship in Chelyabinsk and its Grand Prix stages. At the same time, major competitors fell. Kamila Valieva was disqualified by decision of the CAS and Sofia Muravyova withdrew from the competition due to illness.

Adelia Petrosyan lived up to fans’ expectations of her. Already in the short program, Adelia Petrosyan took the lead with 86.29 points. She beat Anna Frolova and Ksenia Sinitsyna. In the free program, Petrosyan also became the best with 166.68 points. As a result, according to the sum of points, Petrosyan won gold at the Spartakiad, earning 252.97 points.
