Three-time Olympic cross-country ski champion Alexander Bolshunov opened competitions for young athletes in the Moscow region.
The “Alexander Bolshunov Cup” takes place on the track of the Istina sports school, in the village of Golovino, near Moscow. The competition is taking place for the second time.

Ski racing enthusiasts under the age of 18 take part in the Alexandre Bolshunov Cup. Different distances and courses have been prepared for six age categories: 500 m, 1 km, 2 km, 3 km and 5 km. The youngest age group is children 8 and under. At the previous Cup, the youngest participant in the competition was three-year-old Tanya Marchenkova from the Odintsovo urban district.
The winners and runners-up of the tournament will receive awards and gifts from Bolshunov.
