Djurasek officially became a player of Shakhtar

The midfielder has signed a two-year contract.

Central midfielder Neven Jurasek officially became a Donetsk player Miner. The Croatian midfielder has signed a two-year contract with the Pitmen.

Jurasek has already joined the team’s training camp in Rotterdam.

Recall that last season the Croatian played on loan for Dnipro-1. Neven joined the Ukrainian club in the summer of 2021, having since played in 19 matches for the team in all competitions (2 assists).

In connection with the military invasion of the army of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, Dnepr-1 released the Croatian midfielder on loan to the Slovenian Olympia.

Earlier, Shakhtar announced the appointment of Igor Jovicevich as the head coach of the team. It was under the guidance of the Croatian mentor that Djurasek played for Dnepr-1.

The start of the new season of the Ukrainian Premier League is scheduled for August 23.
