Johaug, four-time Olympic cross-country champion, announces his return to competition

Norwegian skier Teresa Johaug announced his return to competitions, the athlete will compete in Switzerland.

Johaug will start the 17 kilometer Engadin Frauenlauf race on March 3.

“It’s very important for me to understand what shape I’m in and if it’s possible (to come back). As soon as the start number appears on my chest, I want to run really fast. “I have to admit it,” the 35-year-old Norwegian said, as quoted by NRK.

The skier retired after the end of the 2021/22 season. Subsequently, Johaug worked in television. Last May, the athlete gave birth to a child and got married in December.

Johaug is a four-time Olympic champion, she also has 14 world championship gold medals and three overall World Cup victories.
