Athletistic/ Figure Skating. Russian figure skater Evgeny Semenenko published on one of the social networks a post dedicated to the Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu, who announced on July 19 his retirement at the age of 27.
“Yuzuru Hanyu is the best! I’m glad to have had the opportunity to talk and skate with the great figure skater, figure skating legend,” Semenenko wrote.
Yuzuru Hanyu won Olympic gold twice (2014, 2018), became world champion twice (2014, 2017), won the world team championship once (2017) and also won the championship from four continents (2020) in men’s individual skating.
