More than 5,000 skiers took part in the Alexander Legkov PARI race, the press service of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Moscow region reported.
The races took place on Friday February 23 in Peresvet, near Moscow. On this day, 10 years ago, Alexander Legkov became Olympic champion at Sochi 2014.
Three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov won the men’s 20 kilometer race. Sergey Ardashev took second place and Alexey Chervotkin third. In the women’s 20 km race, Olympic ski relay champion Veronika Stepanova became the best. Anastasia Kuleshova took second place and Maria Istomina third.
