Rotan: Several players will go on loan to get playing practice

Alexandria’s mentor summed up the results of winter training camps

Head coach Alexandria Ruslan Rotan summed up the results of the winter training camp. The mentor said that several players will have to go on loan to get playing practice.

“First of all, I want to thank the club’s management for the good organization of these training camps. All conditions for both living and training were at a fairly high level. Special thanks for the sparring partners. We are satisfied with the training camp, we are satisfied with the results of our guys’ training. Everything went according to plan.”

“We are already looking forward to the start of the spring part of the championship. Now we need to focus on him. And the championship will show how ready the guys are. Because it’s no secret that there is still work to be done, and they understand it. But we are moving in the right direction and their psychology and mentality is focused on doing a good job already in the championship.”

“Now we are just analyzing the results of the training camp. Will there be changes? I think yes. There are a sufficient number of players. There is even competition in some positions on the field, I have already talked about this. She might even interfere in the championship. Therefore, some players will be better off going on loan. But this does not mean that we give up on them. It’s just that in these conditions, getting game practice is much better than being a substitute or sitting on the bench. We think the players who go on loan will come back stronger.”

At the training camp in Turkey, Alexandria played with the Danish B-39 (2:1) and Vejle (0:3), after which they again lost to the Danish Hvidovra (1:2). Then Rotan’s team defeated Turkmen Ahal (3:0), drew with Lyngby (1:1), defeated Saburtalo (3:0), defeated Pyunik (3:2) and lost to Kaisar (0:1).

Alexandria ranks 11th in the UPL. The next match Rotan’s team will play against Shakhtar on February 26. The match will take place at the KSK Nika stadium with spectators.
