Previously, the skater was disqualified for 4 years. The reason is doping. In the best case scenario, Valieva will be able to return to the ice in December 2025.
Romashina hopes that Valieva will succeed in the future. She supported the athlete during such a difficult time.
“Camila is in a very difficult situation. I am sure that many people support her. Camila must continue to move forward, life does not end there. Everyone is on her side,” Romashina told RIA Novosti .
Since February 2022, Russian figure skaters have been suspended from international competitions.
