The Jamaican fighter defeated Ray Cooper in his last fight on the PFL vs. Bellator show.
Former Bellator welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov called up a Jamaican fighter Jason Jackson have a rematch. The Ukrainian congratulated his former rival on his victory over American Ray Cooper.
“Congratulations Jason, impressive win! Let’s have a rematch? At one time, I gave you this fight without hesitation, now I’m waiting for your answer,” Amosov wrote.
Jackson defeated Cooper at PFL vs. Bellator, which took place in Saudi Arabia on Sunday night. The Jamaican won by technical knockout in the second round.
Amosov lost to Jackson as part of the Bellator 301 tournament and lost the championship title. In the third round, the Ukrainian received a heavy blow, which Jason took advantage of and began to finish off his opponent. The judge stopped the fight, awarding the victory to the Jamaican fighter.
In a fight against Jackson, Amosov suffered the first defeat in his professional career. The Ukrainian has held the Bellator championship title since 2021 and made one successful defense in a fight with Logan Storley.
