Maksimov’s team was unable to beat the UPL outsider and let Krivbass lead
SK Dnepr-1 couldn’t beat Minai in the home match of the 18th round Ukrainian Premier League – 1:1.
The Transcarpathian team took the lead in the middle of the first half: Artur Remenyak took advantage of Denis Ustimenko’s pass.
Before the break, Minaj missed an excellent opportunity to increase the lead: Evgeniy Volynets parried Timur Korablin’s shot from the 11-meter mark.
At the beginning of the second half of the match, Alexander Pikhalyonok equalized the score by converting a penalty. The teams did not score any more goals.
Note that the start of the match was postponed due to an air raid warning in the Dnieper. For the same reason, the match was interrupted twice more in the first half.
