For the first time in history, two representatives of Ukraine finished in the top 10 at this level
Ukrainian athletes performed successfully at the stage Luge World Cup in Sigulda, Latvia, updating national record.
For the first time at this level, representatives of Ukraine managed to finish in the top 10. Anton Dukach took the final seventh place (national record of Ukraine). His compatriot Andrey Mandziy based on the sum of two attempts, he showed the ninth result.
Another Ukrainian Daniil Martsinovskyfinished the competition in 20th position.
Previously, the highest achievement of our compatriots at the World Cup stages was 13th place (three times). Mandziy was the last to achieve this result in Winterberg, Germany.
Let us remind you that at the end of January, Dukach set a new national record at the World Luge Championships in Altenberg, Germany.
