Mark Kondratyuk: “When I was a child, they sent me to skiing, but when I had to make the final choice, my mother chose figure skating”

Russian figure skater Mark Kondratyuk said he was into alpine skiing as a child, but later his mother decided to let him into figure skating.

— How come you chose figure skating?
