The Saudi club is eager to sign the German goalkeeper this summer
Saudi Al-Ittihad made a proposal to the goalkeeper Barcelona Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
The sporting director of the Asian club is Ramon Planes, who worked in Barcelona from 2018 to 2021.
The 31-year-old German has a contract with his current club until 2028, but the less-than-ideal economic situation could tempt the Catalans to sell the player to representatives of Saudi Arabia.
Let us remind you that Ter Stegen suffered a back injury during the international break in November. Conservative treatment did not bring the expected result, so the German had to undergo surgery.
As a result, Marc-Andre missed almost three months and only returned to duty on February 11. In total, this season he played 21 matches for the blue garnets (of which nine were clean sheets), in which he conceded 20 goals.
Barcelona are in second place in La Liga, but tomorrow they can return this position to their neighbors from Girona. Al Ittihad, whose team includes Karim Benzema, Fabinho and Kante, are fifth in the Saudi Arabian Championship.
