Wife of double Olympic champion Evgenia Plushenko and co-owner of the Plushenko Academy of Angels, Yana Rudkovskaya, told about the timeline for restoring the roof of the Moscow Ice Center.
Mash previously reported that the membrane roof collapsed at Evgeni Plushenko’s Ice Palace, southwest of Moscow.
— After yesterday’s freezing rain and drifting snow, the farm was bent over. We have started the renovations. To replace the truss, the roof of the span section was dismantled. To speed up the work when there was a significant volume of snow, the membrane was cut so that all the snow fell on the ice. The ice was installed so as not to be damaged. The work began on a weekend evening. There is a video recording indicating that the work was carried out by technical services. Nothing went wrong. We cut out a beam and a membrane ourselves. It is clear that the climbers cut the membrane. No problem. We stayed here all night with Evgeniy and the technical services.
Some children will go up to Gorki-10, and for some we will remove the ice. The timing depends on the exam,” Rudkovskaya told .
The first branch of the Plushenko Academy of Angels opened in the Russian capital in April 2017.
