Dynamo midfielder – about the match with Metalist 1925 in the 18th round of the UPL championship
Midfielder Dynamo Vladimir Brazhko commented victory your team over Metalist 1925 in the match of the 18th round of the Ukrainian Premier League.
— We did a great job in Turkey during the training camp. I know that we have small problems in defense, but we know how to eliminate these shortcomings,” Brazhko noted.
— In December, Dynamo played with Metalist 1925 at the Valery Lobanovsky Stadium. Has the opponent changed since then?
– Yes. They have a new head coach, there are a lot of newcomers, they play according to a different scheme.
— You started with one newcomer – Taras Mikhavko. How did he perform at the training camp?
— I think that Taras has a good football future. Everyone on the team supports him. However, everything in football will depend only on himself, how he will try in every game, in every training session.
— Already in the 5th minute, your former teammate Denis Garmash opened the scoring in this match. What thoughts did you have at that moment?
“I wanted to quickly win back and achieve victory.”
— As the course of the match showed, the Kharkov team, having scored a goal, began to play defensively. So Garmash’s goal helped Dynamo to some extent?
— We assumed that we would act as number one. Of course, missing an early goal was not our plan. In the first half, we were unable to convert scoring chances. We improved this component in the second half.
— Did Dynamo play better than in the fall?
– Can not say. There are aspects that need to be improved in our game. Let’s see how we play in the next matches. Then it will be possible to say something concrete.
