Wife of double Olympic champion Evgenia Plushenko and co-owner of the Plushenko Academy of Angels, Yana Rudkovskaya, published three videos on the Telegram channel, which, in her opinion, refute the information that appeared in the media about the collapse of the roof of the Moscow Ice Center.

Earlier, the Mash Telegram channel reported that the membrane roof collapsed in the Ice Palace of Evgeni Plushenko, southwest of Moscow. Rudkovskaya previously told that after a freezing rain, a truss on the roof of the building was bent and to replace it, it was necessary to dismantle the roof over the truss span. To speed up the work, the membrane was cut to remove the snow.

“In order to once again emphasize the unreliable information from some sources about the roof collapse,” Rudkovskaya wrote.

Videos from CCTV cameras show that special services are working on site.

— I approach the towers, with specialists we control the cutting of the membranes. They explain to me how the tower is installed. Our towers are working, there are climbers at the top,” Rudkovskaya explains in the videos.

According to Rudkovskaya, the preliminary deadline for resuming operation of the complex is 30-35 days.
