Luka must decide his future on his own
Head coach Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti after the victory over Sevilla (1:0) in the 26th round of La Liga, he spoke separately about the experienced midfielder Luka Modric.

Modric’s current contract with Blancos runs until the end of the 2023/24 season. The Madrid head coach invited the footballer to join the Blancos coaching staff at the end of the season. However, Luka made the final decision to refuse, as his priority remains the continuation of his playing career.
This season, Modric has made 29 appearances for the club in all competitions. The midfielder has two goals and six assists. Let us note that it was the Croatian’s goal that brought the Blancos victory over Sevilla.
Real are confidently leading La Liga, ahead of Girona and Barcelona. Real’s next Spanish league match will be away against Valencia on March 2.
