Mike helped Francis before his debut fight with Tyson Fury
Former undisputed world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson was not present at the former UFC heavyweight champion’s camp Francis Ngannou before his fight with Anthony Joshua.
“To be honest, before this fight, because my own trainer was here, Tyson wasn’t there this time,” Ngannou said.
“Iron Mike” helped Ngannou before his debut in the ring – a fight against WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. The Cameroonian, although he lost to Fury by decision, made a good impression against the current champion title holder, knocking down the “Gypsy King” and inflicting several cuts on the Briton.
The fight between Ngannou and Joshua will take place on March 8 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. The undercard of this fight will feature a fight between Zhang Zhilei and Joseph Parker.
