Sukhanov: We missed the fans in the stands, my wife and friends came to the match

Kyiv Obolon striker Sergei Sukhanov looked upset after the end of the game with Chernomorets, in which his team, having a huge advantage, missed out on victory over the Odessa team.

— How would you evaluate the result of the meeting with the Odessa club?

“We were aiming for victory, because we know our tournament position well.” One set piece at our goal and the ball was immediately conceded. Well, at least we didn’t lose.

– No. During training camp we scored quite a lot of goals.

— Has Obolon become stronger during the winter training camp?

— It’s too early to draw any conclusions. But if we continue to play like this, with such intensity, then victories will not escape us.

– We had to win. We did something wrong in the end.

— The fans in the stands liked Obolon’s game…

— We were looking for a chance in attack, and struck 20 shots at the opponent’s goal. Perhaps we were a little tired after the break. And the guests made substitutions and rebuilt their game.
