The blue garnets were in no hurry to exclude Alves from this symbolic “Hall of Fame”, relying on the presumption of the Brazilian’s innocence, and decided to exclude him only after the court verdict was announced.

Let us remind you that on February 22, the Supreme Court of Catalonia sentenced Dani Alves to four and a half years in prison. The ex-footballer, Brazil’s record holder in World Cup history, was found guilty of rape, which occurred at the end of 2022.

Initially, the prosecutor’s office requested nine years in prison for the accused. At the same time, Alves’ lawyer has already announced an appeal against the announced verdict.
