On December 8, the IOC Executive Committee decided to admit athletes from the Russian Federation and Belarus to the 2024 Summer Olympic Games with individual neutral status and subject to a number of conditions. This decision by the IOC is contrary to the Olympic Charter and all sanctions imposed on athletes for political reasons are discriminatory.
