— They say that the atmosphere at the Sochi Olympic Games is something incredible. Did you manage to take full advantage of it? Or was all this masked by initial nervousness?

— Before the competition, I had only one path: from the gym to training and back. I had nothing else. I tried to distract myself from everything that was happening. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do it. Because we basically closed the competition. So the most memorable moment of the Games for me was the final pose at the end of the program.

— “Iceberg” is an emblematic palace of Russian figure skaters. How do you feel when you find yourself there again?

“Every time I come to Sochi and go to the Iceberg, a picture appears before my eyes: a full stadium, I have to go out for a six-minute warm-up, and then play,” Sotnikova told .
