Prometheus won a difficult victory over Betsafe/Liepaja in the LEBL away match

Prometheus experienced considerable problems with the away game Betsafe/Liepajamiddle peasant Latvian-Estonian Basketball Leaguebut still managed to put the squeeze on the opponent in the last quarter – 83:70.

The home team, despite the vigorous start by the favorite (0:5), had a strong first half of the match and even went into the long break as leaders – 39:37.

The game continued evenly in the third ten minutes, only at the end of which Ronen Ginzburg’s team was able to break away by four points. But Liepaja no longer had any strength left for the final quarter. Prometheus quickly increased his handicap and kept his opponent at a safe distance.

The Ukrainian team continues to be in second place in the LEBL regular season standings. Already on Saturday, March 2, she will have an away match against her closest pursuer – VEF Riga.
