Anton Chupkov won first place in the 200m breaststroke at the first stage of the Friendship Games, which are held in Kazan.
Second place was taken by Kirill Prigoda, third – by Alexei Sudarev.
Yelena Bogomolova won the 50m breaststroke. The second was Nika Godun, the third – Alina Zmushka from Belarus. At a distance of 100 m freestyle, Maria Kameneva excelled, the second – Daria Surushkina, the third – Daria Ustinova. Svetlana Chimrova won gold in the 200m butterfly, Anastasia Markova won silver, Alexandra Sabitova won bronze. At a distance of 200m on the back Anastasia Shkurdai was first, Daria Ustinova second and Renata Gainullina third.
In the men’s 50 butterfly, Oleg Kostin finished first, Roman Shevlyakov second and Mikhail Vekovishchev third. Alexander Egorov became the first at a distance of 400 m freestyle, the second – Daniil Shatalov, the third – Martin Malyutin.
In the men’s 4 × 100 m freestyle relay, the victory was won by the Moscow-1 team (Mikhail Dovgalyuk, Vladislav Grinev), the team from the Kaluga region (Vladislav Gerasimenko and Dmitry Savenko) finished second , St. Petersburg-1 (Daniil Kosenkov and Vasily Kukushkin). In women, the St. Petersburg-1 team (Daria Ustinova and Yana Shakirova) excelled, Moscow-1 (Anastasia Zhuravleva and Daria Mullakaeva) finished second, and the Novosibirsk region (Arina Surkova and Victoria Starostina) finished third.
