The Portuguese reacted to insults from rival fans
Attack Al Nasr Cristiano Ronaldo received a one-match disqualification and a fine for an indecent gesture that the Portuguese made towards Al-Shabab fans in a Saudi Arabian championship match.
The forward reacted to the taunts of the home team’s fans, who shouted Lionel Messi’s name. For his behavior, in addition to a ban for one game, Cristiano is obliged to pay 10 thousand Saudi rials (2,460 euros) to the Saudi Football Federation, and 20 thousand rials (4,920 euros) to Al-Shabaab.
Note that in the away match of the 21st round with Al-Shabab (3:2), Ronaldo opened the scoring by converting a penalty. In total, this season the Portuguese played 29 matches for the club, in which he scored 28 goals and gave 11 assists.
Al-Nasr are ranked second in the Saudi Arabian Professional League. Ronaldo will miss the match with Al-Hazem, which will take place on February 29.
