Athletistic/ Figure skating. Anastasia Kuryavina-Kuchuk, one of Eteri Tutberidze’s first students in Russia, remembers how the coach treated his athletes.
“What was Tutberidze like 25 years ago? Very emotional. She has crazy energy. People were afraid of her.
She loved all athletes. She always helped. I love and respect her,” Kuryavina-Kuchuk said in an interview with Match TV.
Previously, Diana Davis, daughter of Eteri Tutberidze, changed her sports citizenship. Now the skater competes for Georgia.
Currently, Russian figure skaters are suspended from international competitions.
