br0 left Monte and moved to Astralis

This is the second player to leave the Ukrainian team in just a few days

Danish player Alexander “br0” Bro left the Ukrainian esports team Monte And will continue his career V Astralis.

“Thank you for everything, Alex. Today our bro, br0, is leaving our lineup. It was a steep and eventful journey together. Our first victory at LAN was with you, so you will forever be a part of Monte. Your dream has come true – now you are part of Astralis. We wish you great achievements and victories (but not against us),” Monte said in a statement.

br0 joined Monte in July 2023. Together with the team, he became a semi-finalist of ESL Pro League Season 18, a finalist of Roobet Cup 2023 and won the ESL Challenger Jönköping.

Monte recently stopped collaborating with Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev. Let us remind you that the Ukrainian team failed to make it to PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, having performed unsuccessfully at the European RMR tournament.

Today Monte played their first match with the updated lineup, beating PARIVISION (Ancient – 13:10, Mirage – 13:4) in Group D at RES Regional Series 1 Europe. Youth players Jack “Gizmy” von Spreckelsen and Vladislav “Kvem” Korol played for the team, for whom this was a test match. Note that Kvem became the best player of the meeting with a rating of 1.70.
