Kambosos: Lomachenko has a lot of holes, we carefully study his fights

The Australian analyzed Vasily’s last fight against Devin Haney

Australian boxer George Kambosos spoke about how he closely watched the actions of his future opponent, a former world champion in three weight categories Vasily Lomachenkoin the last fight of the Ukrainian against Devina Haney for the title of absolute world champion.

“We were there ringside, we went back and analyzed that fight. Both fighters did a great job. Devin did a fantastic job at the beginning of the fight, Vasily came out stronger and did what he does at the end of the fight.”

“We are studying [всех]. We are the highest professionals in this sport. I am careful in everything I do. We will continue to study more and more Lomachenko and the fights he has had and find holes in them.”

“There are holes, a lot of holes. I’m looking forward to proving it,” concluded the Australian.

Let us remember that in May 2023, Lomachenko lost to Haney in the fight for the title of absolute world champion. In turn, Kambosos defeated Briton Maxi Hughes in his last fight, winning the IBO lightweight title.

The fight between Vasily and George for the vacant IBF lightweight belt will take place on May 12. The event, which also includes two undercard fights, will take place at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, starting at approximately 5 a.m. Kyiv time.
