The first goal of a Ukrainian in the current season of League 2
Ukrainian midfielder Daniil Ignatenko scored a goal for Bordeaux in the away match of the 27th round of League 2 against Rodesa — 2:2.
Bordeaux took the lead after Davitashvili’s goal, but the hosts neutralized the opponent’s advantage through the efforts of Corredor and Lipinski. Ignatenko scored his goal already in stoppage time in the second half, accurately shooting with a dribbling shot.
The Ukrainian has 25 games in all tournaments this season, in which Ignatenko scored two goals and gave one assist. The goal against Rodez was Daniil’s first in League 2 of the 2023/24 season.
Bordeaux is in 13th position in Ligue 2. In the next round, Ignatenko’s club will play Quevilly Rouen on March 9.
