Alexandria did not add Kalyuzhny, which is why it lost one point
A meeting was held today at the Football House Control and Disciplinary Committee of the UAF on the scandalous match of the 18th round of the UPL between Alexandria And Miner (0:0).
The meeting ended in a goalless draw. However, after the match it became known that midfielder Ivan Kalyuzhny played for the hosts, who was included in the referee’s report, but at the start of the match (February 26) was not declared for Alexandria. This oversight was confirmed by the club itself and even took measures in the form of removing the sports director from his duties.
In the autumn part of the season, Kalyuzhny played in LNZ on loan. In winter, the midfielder returned to Alexandria. In the match with Shakhtar, Ivan played the entire match. According to data on UPL websiteOn February 29, Kalyuzhny was officially included in Alexandria’s roster for the season.
The participation of an undeclared football player in the match, according to the regulations and the decision of the CDC, resulted in a technical defeat for Alexandria – 0:3. The miner was awarded a technical victory (3:0).
After the decision of the UAF CDC, changes took place in the UPL standings. The miner was level on points with Krivbass (37 each), but beat the Kryvyi Rih team in additional indicators and took second place. Alexandria has 17 points and holds 11th place.
