“I can’t say that the Olympics have lost their usefulness. It is still the main competition in the life of every athlete.
But the absence of the Russian flag at the last Olympics is a shame,” Tarasova told RB Sport.
Recall that in December 2023, the IOC announced the admission to the Olympic Games of athletes from Russia and Belarus in a neutral individual status, subject to a certain number of strict criteria.
In 2024, the Olympic Games will take place in Paris (France) from July 26 to August 11.
