Athletistic / Figure skating. Olympic champion Ekaterina Bobrova and sports journalist Andrei Zhurankov talked about Roman Savosin’s performance in the free program of the Channel One Cup. The competition took place from March 1 to 3 in St. Petersburg.
“Savosin’s free program under Celentano was a highlight of the Channel One Cup. All the spectators smiled during Roman’s skating and the stands danced with him. He was so free! I was convinced once again: I don’t know who could skate this program like that, like Savosin,” Bobrova said as quoted by “Championship”.
“I’m afraid no one in the world. Well, certainly not Matteo Rizzo. Not his story. What else is there? Celentano is not handsome, but what masculine charisma he has! And Savosin himself is the same – not a sex symbol, but his charisma… Masculine charm flows from him under Celentano’s hoarse voice,” Zhurankov added.
Roman Savosin took sixth place in the Channel One Cup free skate. The 24-year-old skater competed for Alina Zagitova’s team. Anna Shcherbakova’s team won the tournament.
