Honored coach of Russia in figure skating Eteri Tutberidze received a certificate of honor from the Moscow government, according to the official website of the capital’s mayor.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin presented the awards.
Tutberidze received a certificate for his great contribution to the development and popularization of figure skating in Moscow and the training of athletes who achieved high sporting feats.
On several occasions, Kamila Valieva, Olympic champions Yulia Lipnitskaya, Alina Zagitova, Anna Shcherbakova, Games medalists Evgenia Tarasova/Vladimir Morozov, Evgenia Medvedeva, Alexandra Trusova and others trained under the guidance of 50-year-old Tutberidze.
