Famous Ukrainian cybersportsman Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev made his debut for Team Falcons in the match against Metizport in the 1/8 finals BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024.
The match ended in the defeat of the Falcons with a score of 1:2 (Mirage – 13:9, Overpass – 4:13, Vertigo – 11:13). s1mple finished the match with statistics of 38-49 and a rating of 0.94 (first map – 14-15/0.84, second – 14-14/1.35, third – 10-20/0.78). Let us remind you that Kostylev plays for Team Falcons on a monthly loan from Natus Vincere.
The match against Metizport became s1mple’s first official match in Counter-Strike 2. In October 2023, Alexander decided to take a break from his professional career. He did not play for NAVI in CS2.
Thus, the Falcons completed their performances at the Spring Showdown 2024. Metizport will play in the quarter finals with the winner of the match between the Ukrainian team Monte and the Brazilian Imperial Esports.
BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024 takes place online from March 6 to 10. 16 teams will compete for two tickets to BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024.
