Champion and record holder of Russia in swimming Semyon Makovich said the atmosphere at the World Masters Championships in Doha was friendly, but he was surprised by the poor quality of the medals.

Russian athletes did not participate in the World Championships in Doha, and in the Masters category many Russians with neutral status achieved a number of victories – in water polo, swimming and diving.
