The 19-year-old athlete posted a video of an impeccable performance of a quadruple axel in training on his Telegram channel.
– Oh, incredible, well done Vladislav! I can’t even believe that anyone other than Malinin could have achieved this element. I am very happy for Dikiji. This is a serious event for our figure skating,” Bestemyanova told .
The first skater in history who managed to cleanly execute a quadruple axel in official competitions was the American Ilya Malinin.
In the 2023/24 season, Dikiji won gold at two stages of the Russian Grand Prix and silver at the Russian Championship.
