Ukrainian goalkeeper missed two goals
Benfica played a draw at home with Rangers in the first match 1/8 finals of the Europa League – 2:2.
The Scottish team took the lead in the 7th minute through the efforts of Tom Lawrence. The Eagles came back late in the first half with Angel Di Maria converting a penalty. However, three minutes later, Dujon Sterling restored the advantage to the visitors.
Midway through the second half, Benfica equalized thanks to an own goal from defender Connor Goldson. The teams did not score any more goals.
Goalkeeper Anatoly Trubin played 36 matches for Benfica. The goalkeeper missed 36 goals for the Eagles, and the Ukrainian kept a clean sheet in 13 matches.
