Athletistic / Figure skating. The Olympic champion of the Games in Turin (Italy) in 2006, the legendary Russian figure skater Roman Kostomarov, spoke about his prospects in the coaching profession.

“Somehow I can suggest certain things to the skaters, I can come and watch the training, suggest what the guys should spend more time on, what they should work on more – on gliding, the component emotional, the appearance of the couple or something like that. like that kind. I can be useful as a coach, it’s just that in the current situation I can’t devote much time to it. I can come for an hour or two, look, give advice, direct somewhere, but it’s difficult to show something. I’m talking about hands in general, I’m not saying…” TASS quotes Kostomarov.

Roman Kostomarov fell ill with pneumonia in January 2023. The illness led to complications, the athlete developed limb necrosis. For this reason, doctors had to partially amputate Roman’s limbs.
