Defender Dynamo Vladislav Dubinchak commented on the match with Veres (1:1) in the 20th round of the UPL.

Of course, it’s very disappointing to concede in the last seconds, to lose points in such an important match for us, due to which we could rise in the standings. But as it is, we will move on.”

“Veres is a team that plays through crosses and aerial wrestling. The match was difficult for us. The first half and the beginning of the second were good, but then, apparently, they began to worry about the score, “sat back” in their half of the field and gave the opponent the opportunity to make these crosses, which ultimately led to the goal being conceded.”

“In a normal situation we would have taken control of the ball and tried to push the opponents into their half of the field. And here we ourselves “sat” in our half and tried to save the score. This was obvious, I think everyone understands this, because they also sent out central defenders as replacements, understanding that there would be a head-to-head fight. It so happened that we didn’t hold on to the victory until the end.”

“I repeat, it’s very disappointing that this happened in the last seconds. Instead of the three points we should get, we will take only one from Rivne, but I hope this will not interfere with our plans.”

Alexander Shovkovsky’s team did not win in the championship for the first time in seven matches and remained in fourth place in the table. In the next round, Dynamo will host Zorya on March 12.
